Radha Soami Satsang Beas Jasdeep Singh Gill, Jasdeep Singh Gill: In a major development, Radha Soami Satsang Beas successor Jasdeep Singh Gill's security has been heightened by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Radha Soami Satsang Beas Chief Baba Gurinder Sing Dhillon chose Baba Jasdeep Singh Gill as his successor a few months back. As the successor of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, Baba Jasdeep Singh Gill now has the right to give the name donation as Satguru. Talking about Jasdeep Singh Dhillon's security, he has been a Z-category security.
As per reports, the Z-category security has been given by the Home Ministry on the basis of intelligence reports. CRPF commandos will provide security to Radha Soami Satsang Beas successor Jasdeep Singh Gill. Lakhs of devotees reach Dera Beas. Recently, Jasdeep Singh Gill has been declared as the successor by Dera Radha Swami Beas's Mukhi Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon, due to which he has been given Z category security.
For those who are unaware, the Z category is a security detail of 22 personnel, including 4-6 NSG commandos and police personnel.
Who is Jasdeep Singh Gill?
Jasdeep Singh Gill is the son of Sukhdev Singh Gill. Jasdeep Singh Gill, 45, is reportedly a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Cambridge and an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, alumnus. Baba Jasdeep Singh Gill is also the paternal cousin of Gurinder Singh. He is presently residing in Mumbai. His wife is a doctor by profession. He was earlier working as the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Management Personnel in Cipla, India. He resigned from the company earlier this year.
Notably, Jasdeep Singh Gill shall also succeed Baba Gurinder Singh Dhillon as the Sant Satguru of the Radha Soami Satsang Beas Society and will have the authority of giving initiation (naam). The organisation has a massive following with its headquarters on the banks of Beas river near Amritsar.
He was also associated with Ethris and Achira Labs Private Limited as a board observer. Until March 2024, he was a board member of Wealthy Therapeutics. Earlier, he served at Ranbaxy as executive assistant to the CEO and at Cambridge University Entrepreneurs as the president and chairman.
He has a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Cambridge and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the exchange programme. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemical engineering and biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
