The matter of MP Raghav Chadha’s appointment as Chairman of Punjab’s Advisory Committee has reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. A petition has been filed against this in the high court by advocate Jagmohan Bhatti. Calling this appointment unconstitutional, he has demanded to cancel.
The Punjab government has recently formed an advisory board to advise the government on issues of public interest. Raghav Chadha has been made the Chairman.

The government argues that this will speed up the work. On the other hand, the appointment of Chartered Accountant Raghav Chadha will improve the financial condition in Punjab by stopping revenue theft.
