A video from Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo’ yatra of Rahul Gandhi being explained about Jesus Christ has sparked controversy in the political arena.
The video twitted by BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga showed Rahul Gandhi with Tamil Nadu Pastor George Ponnaiah and others talking about Jesus Christ.
The video showed Ponnaiah telling Rahul Gandhi when he asked that “Jesus is a form of god?” to which the former responded that “Jesus is a real god and not like Shakti and others who were born as human.”

The video is being widely shared by people over the internet criticizing Rahul Gandhi and Congress. BJP’s Sambit Patra soon jumped into action launching his scathing remarks against Congress and the Gandhi Family (Sonia and Priyanka Gandhi) telling that "they have a history of hurting the sentiments of Hindus" by putting such immoral acts on display.
The Tamil Nadu Pastor George Ponnaiah has a history of making hate speeches over a community and has also been arrested in July 2021 over one of his remarks inciting communal sentiments, besides criticizing Modi-Shah over their moves of glorifying hyper-nationalism.
