Lovebirds Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa got married in Chandigarh on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony. The wedding was a close-knit affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance. Both Rajkummar and Patralekhaa treated fans to their stunning pictures from the wedding on social media. In the dreamy photos, the Newlyweds looked like a match made in heaven. Now, the first photo from their wedding reception has gone viral on the internet.
Following a low-key wedding, the couple hosted a grand reception in the city. It was attended by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, who also took to Instagram to share a beautiful photo with the newlyweds. Sharing the click, the CM wrote in Hindi, “Attended the marriage ceremony of Bollywood’s famous actors Rajkumar Rao and Patralekha in Chandigarh. I wished the bride and groom a successful married life.”
For the wedding reception, Patralekhaa opted for a stunning golden saree teamed with a heavy neckpiece. Sindoor on her forehead made her look even more ravishing. Rajkummar Rao, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black tuxedo suit. Both were seen smiling as they pose with the CM.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa got engaged on November 13 after dating each other for over a decade. The actor got down on his knee to propose his ladylove.
While sharing the first photos from his wedding, Rajkummar wrote on Instagram, “Finally after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, I got married to my everything today, my soulmate, my best friend, my family. Today there is no greater happiness for me than being called your husband @patralekhaa Here’s to forever .. and beyond.”
Patralekhaa shared a few more pictures and wrote, “I got married to my everything today; my boyfriend, my partner in crime, my family, my soulmate…My best friend for the last 11 years! There is no greater feeling than to be your wife! Here’s to our forever…”
Couple dances to Shah Rukh Khan's song, Other pictures, and videos from the wedding showed Rajkummar dancing to the song Dil Se, in front of a stage where the band was playing. He is joined by Patralekhaa as both dances together.
