On January 12, 1598, Rajmata Jijau was born. She was born in the Maharashtra town of Deulgaon, near Sindkhed. She was Sindhkhed's Lakhuji Jadhavrao's daughter. He was a Mughal-aligned Sardar who claimed descent from a Devagiri royal dynasty.

She married Shahaji Bhosale, the son of Verul village's Maloji Bhosale. Her actual journey began after that. Jijau and Shahaji together had eight children, two sons, and six daughters.

Jijabai was a powerful and tenacious woman. Her actions have been the epitome of maintaining self-respect and virtue in any situation.

Shivaji exhibited many of the same qualities that she possessed. She instilled in him a feeling of responsibility, courage, and fortitude to confront any difficulties that may arise.

Shivaji developed a human touch under her direction and care, which saw him have a tremendous respect for all women, religious tolerance, and justice, as well as love for his homeland, religion, and Maharashtra's fight for freedom.

Rajmata Jijau was a pillar of strength and the embodiment of great power. All of Shivaji Maharaj's accomplishments were credited to Rajmata Jijau.

She died a few days before Shivaji's coronation, on June 17, 1674.

We applaud the lady for her bravery and for being a fantastic role model for young people not just in the past but even now today.
