Controversial actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant's husband Adil Durani on Tuesday was detained by Mumbai Police. Ever since Rakhi Sawant announced her marriage to Adil Durani all is not going well between the couple. Although Rakhi Sawant's husband arrest is not confirmed Adil Durrani Khan has been detained by the Oshiwara Police following a complaint registered by the actress herself. The actress had claimed that things between her and Adil were well and looks like she had finally registered a complaint against Adil to the police. He was called for questioning on the morning of February 7 Now, the question arises why Rakhi Sawant's husband has been detained?
Rakhi Sawant's husband detention reason
As per reports, the Mumbai police on February 7, called Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani to the station to record his statement and for questioning following a complaint made by the actress. Reportedly, the complaint was lodged at Mumbai’s Oshiwada Police Station, and the actress claimed that Adil has taken her money and her jewellery. An FIR has been filed under IPC Sec 406 & 420 against Adil and he has been called for questioning.

It is pertinent to mention here that while talking to the papparazzis, Rakhi Sawant had claimed that Adil had come to her house to hit her. She said, “Aj subah who mujhe maarne aaya tha, mere ghar pe. Maine turant Police ko call kiya. (Today morning, he had come to my house to hit me. I immediately called the police)."
For the unversed, Adil and Rakhi tied the knot in a secret affair in 2022. It was only last month that the wedding came to the attention of the media. While Adil had initially called it false, he finally admitted that he and Rakhi have been married for some time. Notably, it was also reported that Rakhi Sawant converted to Islam and after that, she married Adil. However, after Rakhi's mother’s death, she hinted at Adil’s extra-marital affair and claimed that he was being blackmailed. She also vehemently refused to ever file for a divorce from Adil.
