RBI has released the list of bank holidays in February 2025. Bank holidays are decided on the basis of national festivals, regional festivals and weekends. Banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days this month.
As per the rules of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month but February 1, 2025 is the first Saturday so banks will be open on that day and banking services will continue as on normal days.
However, even on bank holidays, ATMs and online banking services are available for the customers. They can withdraw cash and complete online transactions without any interruption unless prior notifications specific service unavailability.
Customers are advised to check with their local bank branch for specific holiday schedules in order to plan their financial activities better. Customers should plan the transactions and banking needs in order to avoid any inconvenience during bank holidays.
