This story is all about Baji Prabhu Deshpande, the commander of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Marathi director Abhijit Deshpande’s latest ‘Har Har Mahadev’, is based on the legends of Baji Prabhu whose tales of valor is still narrated with the utmost honor.

The film is all about the inspirational story of a real-life battle whose record can be found in the segment of India’s medieval history. The story details the victorious battle involving 300 soldiers led by Baji Prabhu Deshpande against a mighty 12,000 fleet of enemies by giving up their lives.

Baji Prabhu was among those soldiers who joined their leader Shivaji Maharaj who dreamt of Swaraj. Through the movie ‘Har Har Mahadev’, the team will present the heroic saga of one of history’s most valiant fighters, who fought for the cause of freedom.

Written and directed by Abhijit Deshpande, the film stars Subodh Bhave as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sharad Kelkar as Baji Prabhu Deshpande.

This movie is special in regards to holding the honor of being the first Marathi film to be released in other Indian languages involving Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
