The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced a massive recruitment for various posts. As per the official notification released on November 21, 2023,  IB is expected to fill 995 vacancies for the post of Chief Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II.  

 

The recruitment notice, published in the employment news journal from November 25 to December 1, 2023, sheds light on the details of this extensive hiring process. The registration process for this recruitment will commence on November 25, 2023, and candidates can submit their applications until December 15, 2023.

 

Talking about IB Recruitment criteria,  candidates aspiring to join the agency as Deputy/Chief Central Intelligence Officer Grade II must fulfill the minimum age limit of 18 years and the maximum age limit of 27 years. Additional age limits are prescribed as per recruitment rules.  

 

IB Vacancy Fees-  the application fee for  General/OBC/EWS category candidates is Rs 450, while the application fee for SC/ST and All Women category candidates is Rs 100.

 

Application fees can be paid through debit card, credit card, or internet banking only.  Salary Information for Open Position in Intelligence Agency  As per the IB ACIO Recruitment 2023 notification, the selected candidates will get a basic salary of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400. Apart from the basic salary, candidates are eligible for various allowances including DA, HRA, TA, etc.
