Hurdang Movie Review: Hurdang is a Bollywood drama film which was released in cinemas on 08th April 2022. The film featured Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Vijay Varma in lead roles. Hurdang is a film directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt and produced by Shailesh R Singh and Bhushan Kumar. It is established in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Hurdang is a love story set against the backdrop of the 1990 Allahabad student rebellion. The film is directed by Anuradha Pandit. Ramanuj Dutta and Archit Patel are in charge of the film's camerawork, while Bodhaditya Banerjee is in charge of editing.
Hurdang, on the other hand, was released in theatres on April 8, 2022. As far as the digital release is concerned, Netflix has bought the post-release rights of the film, which was available on the streaming site starting release day. After running for four weeks in theatres, the premiere is as planned.

Till the release of the film's trailer, Sunny Kaushal has been cast in the lead role of a working-class youth from Uttar Pradesh who aspires to become an IAS officer but is prevented from doing so by an anti-reservation fight in the country. That is, due to not getting the reservation on time, he gives up his desire to become an IAS.
In this film, there is a character named Vijay Varma, who is a powerful and intelligent man in charge of the government affairs of the school. The trailer shows Sunny giving up on his desire to become an IAS and becoming more concerned with government concerns as well as giving up on his plans to become an MLA during his stay.
Hurdling is filled with quotes like – “The problem doesn’t lie in the reservation, but in caste-based reservation”, “Reservation should be on the basis of economic status”, and “A Brahmin’s son can also be poor, so can someone belonging to other castes. That’s why it’s important to protest against caste-based reservation.” Hurdang only attacks caste-based reservations without making any attempt to address caste-based discrimination at all.
