Choreographer and director Remo D'Souza described how he faced racism. Remo told that he used to be named a lot due to his dark skin tone and he had to face it in India as well as abroad. During an interview, Remo told that he used to ignore all this but now he regrets that he could not take the stand for himself.

Remo said, "I have faced racism since childhood because of my dark skin tone. This is a subject that I have experienced very closely in my foreign travels. When I was younger people used to call me by many different names. I would have ignored it just because I thought maybe they were saying that because I look something different. Eventually, when I grew up, I realized that it was wrong and that it was more wrong that I used to let them call me by these names. But now I stand for it and will not let anyone do it. Comments on my skin tone inspired me to be who I am today so that no one can say those names to me again. But race is still present in small towns and villages."

Remo also talked about making his movie ABCD 3. In an interview TOI,  Remo said, "Yes, definitely. I am planning the third part of the series. We are working on the script; it is almost ready. We will announce it soon. ‘ABCD’ is with Disney, so I am trying to get the title back. Most probably we will get it and call the third film ‘ABCD 3’ only. As for the cast, I cannot reveal names yet, but it has to be a dancer."
