Rhea Chakraborty files fresh affidavit in SC says victim of 'Unfair' media trial and Bihar elections

The actress also stated that due to these unfair media trails she is in extreme trauma

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty on Monday filed a fresh affidavit in the Supreme Court of India stating unfair trial by media. Rhea has been accused of abetting actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide and siphoning off Rs 15 crore along with her family and staff. 

At the first point Rhea's affidavit state that coincidentally Sushant's death came at the time of Bihar elections. She accused the Bihar government of blowing Sushant's case 'out of proportion'. 

Rhea also accused the media of blowing Sushant's case out of proportion. In the new affidavit, Rhea has demanded to stop the media trial of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. She has said that despite an open investigation going on in the case, the media has already painted her as a convict.

The actress also stated that due to these unfair media trails she is in extreme trauma with the media breaching her privacy and constantly sensationalizing the case. Rhea gave the example of 2g and Talwar's case in which the media termed the accused as convicts however, they were later judged innocent by the court.

Rhea also questioned the jurisdiction of how the CBI can file an FIR in the case. She also raised questions on the ED that the agency overnight filed an FIR. In the end, Rhea demanded protection and not be made a scapegoat.
