Bollywood actress and the prime suspect in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case Rhea Chakraborty has finally made her presence felt and gave an exclusive interview to elite news organization Aaj Tak. The interview was conducted by veteran journalist Rajdeep Sardesai. Rhea spoke to the media the first time after she uploaded her video on the FIR registered by the Patna Police against her.
Various testimonies say that Sushant's health degraded after he went for a Europe trip with Rhea Chakraborty. On being asked about this, Rhea said that she actually has a shoot for Shein in Paris however, Sushant converted it in a Europe trip. Rhea said that Sushant booked a business class flight and he informed her that he was claustrophobic. Rhea also said named the medicine and said Sushant always had medicine 'modafinil' which was given to him in 2013 when he went for a checkup for depression to a doctor.
Rhea said that after reaching Paris, Sushant continuously remained in his room for three days. When they reached Switzerland Sushant was all fine however, the situation changed in Italy. The actress said they both stayed at a hotel named Palazzo Magnani Fiorini which was a gothic hotel. Rhea said that they were not aware of it when they booked the hotel. There were creepy pictures and dome structures in their rooms which frightened Rhea Chakraborty however, Sushant said to her that all is fine.
Rhea said that a particular night Sushant was not able to sleep and even told her that something creepy inside the room. However, Rhea told her that it was just a dream. After seeing Sushant's health degrading she told him to checkout however, Sushant didn't do it. Then one day Sushant told her that he has been in a similar situation in 2013 after which he met a psychiatrist who gave him the medicine modafinil.
On being asked that why Showik came on the trip with Sushant and Rhea, she said it was Sushant who called Showik on the trip in the middle as he was very connected to him. Before the Europe trip, Sushant formed his dream company on the name of Rhea Chakraborty in which he, Showik, and Rhea were directors. Rhea said it might be Sushant's love for her that he formed his dream company under her name.
On being asked about Sushant paying money for Showik and Rhea on the Europe trip, Rhea said that her flight of business class and hotel were already booked in Paris by the company Shein, however, Sushant planned to convert that business trip into a holiday trip. Therefore he arranged for the bookings and she didn't have any problem with this.
Rhea ultimately said that she and her family were never living off on Sushant's money.
