For the third consecutive day, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the ongoing probe into the alleged drugs angle shrouding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
On Sunday, she appeared before the NCB for the first time and was subjected to a six-hour grilling as investigators went hammer and tongs after drug related allegations that have emerged in the death case.
Again on Monday, Rhea was questioned by at least two NCB teams for eight hours on various aspects of the narcotic drugs thread that has cropped up in the Sushant case.
Now going by the reports of Times Now, Rhea Chakraborty has confessed that she smoked a joint. However, Rhea said to the NCB that she consumed drugs with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Earlier Rhea refused that she ever consumed drugs. Even her lawyer Satish Maneshinde said that Rhea is ready for the blood test and she has never consumed any kind of narco substance.
As per reports, Rhea Chakraborty broke down when she was confronted in front of Showik Chakraborty. Then only she confessed that she has consumed drugs however, she said that drugs came in on the behest of Sushant. She also said to the NCB that many times she said Sushant to stay away from drugs but he did not take any of the advice.
Rhea Chakraborty also confessed that all three of them (Sushant, Rhea, and Showik) consumed drugs at the same place. Rhea claimed that during the lockdown period Sushant did not use to get drugs from regular suppliers easily.
Rhea's difference in statements showcase that there is something she still trying to hide. The NCB may arrest Rhea Chakraborty after the interrogation concludes.
