Rishabh Pant played an entertaining game on Day 3. RishabhPant and Cheteshwar Pujara both tried to get the game back in favor of Indiabut they fall short of a putting a thunderous show.
Pant missed out on his century in the Chennai testagainst England while chasing the mammoth 578 runs.
Rishab Pant is one player who is known for his style andstrategy. Cheteshwar Pujara while speaking with Times Now said, "There aretimes when he can be a little more patient and build a partnership with whoeveris there. Because whenever he is there and he bats a bit longer, he gets a bigone. So I'm sure he'll learn, he has a bright future, he will learn from hismistakes."
Pujara in the press conference on day 3 said, ""Thecommunication to Pant is to try and make him understand the shots he can playand avoid. There are times where he has to understand that he has to put theteam first and be sensible, he has done that most of the time."
The Pujara and Pant's partnership revived India's hopesfor the day but their styles, as per reports are poles apart.
