RJD chief Lalu Yadav admitted in AIIMS Delhi, condition worrisome

Doctors at AIIMS under Dr. Rakesh Yadav, Professor of Cardiology, AIIMS are monitoring and evaluating Yadav's health condition. Yadav, a former Chief Minister of Bihar was convicted in fodder scams.

Lalu Yadav, an imprisoned chief of Rashtriya Janta Dal was admitted to AIIMS, Delhi after his health condition worsened during treatment at a hospital in Ranchi.

According to an official, Yadav has been admitted at a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of the cardiothoracic center at AIIMS.

Yadav, 72 was undergoing treatment at Rajendra Medical Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) at Jharkhand.

RIMS director, Dr. Rajendra Prasad was quoted by NDTV as saying, "Lalu Prasad was having trouble breathing for the last two days. On Friday, he was found to be having pneumonia. Considering his age, we decided to shift him to AIIMS-Delhi on the advice of doctors for better treatment."

The family members of Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tej Pratap among others met him at night.  It has been reported by Tej Pratap that his father's condition is worrisome.
