Uttar-Pradesh UP-Police Agitated-Youth

A video is doing rounds on Twitter in which a youth can be heard calling for the beheading of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a mahapanchayat in Muzaffarnagar.

The agitated youth was addressing a public meeting and was reacting to the UP Police's assault on Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Jayant Choudhary in Hathras.

In the video can be heard saying: " Mere bhaiyon ek jao, Narendra Modi aur Yogi ka sarr na tuhmare sahmne pesh kiya toh mera naam ******** kardena." (Let us unite. I'll behead PM Modi and Yogi, will throw it in your feet.)

Notably, this threat warning was hailed with cheers and applause by the attendees of mahapanchayat.

The mahapanchayat was organized on Thursday morning after protests against the police's lathi-charge on RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary when he had paid a visit to Hathras to meet the kin of the victim's family.

This assault on the RLD leader didn't go well with his supporters and they organized massive protests in the districts of  Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, and Bijnor among others on Tuesday.

Reportedly, on Monday Nauhil Bajna-Aligarh road near Mathura was blocked by Rashtriya Lok Dal activists. They also burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, besides raising anti-government slogans.

Last month, Hathras reported a brutal case of gangrape and murder of a Dalit woman by four upper-caste men which had erupted massive outrage across the nation. Currently, SIT has been constituted by the UP CM Yogi and the probe is underway.
