An attempted robbery in Ludhiana was thwarted and the whole incident was caught bright as day on a CCTV installed in front of the vault. The incident occurred at the Punjab & Sind Bank at the Tajpur road in Ludhiana. The robbers can be seen attempting to break into the vault. Robbers were spotted by people passing nearby who promtly raised the alarm. Upon being called out by the onlookers the robbers were forced to flee the scene, leaving the safe intact and the robbery attempt unsuccessful. The Police have registered a case regarding the same and an official investigation is underway.
