Former India’s cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has announced retirement from Test cricket format with immediate effect.
The cricketer shared this news with his fans and followers and all the cricket lover through his official Instagram story, which read, “Hello everyone, I would just like to share that I am retiring from Test cricket. It’s been an absolute honour to represent my country in white. Thank you for all the love and support over the years. I will continue to represent India in the ODI format."
It is to be noted that this announcement was made after Rohit Sharma was removed from captaincy for the longest format.
