Rohit Sharma requests US Police to go easy on Pitch invader after they brutally take him down; Video Viral

When Team India were fielding, a fan invaded the New York stadium and went onto hug Rohit Sharma who was fielding on the ground during T20 World Cup 2024 warm up match.

Team India on Saturday started T20 World Cup 2024 campaign with the warmp-up match against Banglandesh. India vs Bangladesh T20 World Cup 2024 warm up match took place Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, USA. During their first warm-up match, Team India defeated Bangladesh by 60 runs. Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma decided to bat first in the warm up match. Courtesy of Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya, Team India pushed the final score to 182-5. In response, Bangladesh managed to score only 119-8 in 20 overs quota. While there were multiple eye catching moments in the match, it was Rohit Sharma's pitch invader incident that caught everyone's attention. 

When Team India were fielding, a fan invaded the New York stadium and went onto hug Team India's skipper. Seeing this, US authorities came running in the ground. Two American Police officers brutally slammed the fan on ground and tried to hand cuff him in front of Rohit Sharma. Seeing the brutality, Rohit Sharma gestured towards the dressing room and called someone. Team India skipper also requested US Police officers to go easy on the pitch invader as he was mere a fan.
