BJP leader Sonali Phogat who participated in Big Boss 14 as a contestant was evicted on this Weekend Ka Vaar. In the show, Phogat established connections inside the house and played a strong game. During her journey, she bonded well with Arshi Khan, Aly Goni, and Rahul Vaidya. However, Sonali did not get along well with television actress Rubina Dilaik.

In an interview with a web-portal Koimoi, Sonali Phogat responded on whom she thinks will the show and why?

Sonal replied, "As compared to what we see on TV, in the house I was shown respect by the team and co-contestants. Bigg Boss was also very fair to us. But now looking at it from outside the house, the promos are only showing Rubina in a positive light. So I would say her cleverness has helped her achieve it. Also, the show’s TRPs are increasing because of her, so I think she only will get the trophy."

"I don’t think there is a sense in taking anyone else’s name as the show runners are only showing Rubina in a positive light. In who’s hand the trophy is going is visible, so there’s no fun left," added Sonali.

In another interview, Sonali had accused Rubina of being jealous of her as she is a powerful politician from the BJP.  Phogat said, "I thought Rubina was a very fair and good person but my views changed after knowing her. She treated me very differently and made me feel inferior. She couldn’t digest that a more powerful lady than her had entered the house. She was jealous of me that I was powerful and a politician. Throughout her journey, she has been trying to prove that she is a very powerful lady and that she is running the show."
