Sikh Talmel Committee members reached the school and sought an apology from the teacher and the principal. The Sikh Talmel Committee said that Kada is one of the 5 Kakars of Sikhs. They said that the sentiments of the Sikhs have been hurt by the incident of getting the Kara of Sikh youth torn off. A case should be registered against the teacher who has done this.

In the meantime, the CT group has released a statement stating the immediate termination of the teacher's employment.
