The pageant was held on 16 March (17 March IST) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. 2020 is delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The contestants and organizers lit candles during Singh's soul-stirring performance.

Singh from Jamaica wore a beautiful fuchsia outfit for the event.
She took the crown of Miss World 2021 Carolina Bilawska from Poland. Indian-American Mr Saini from the US took the first runner-up title, followed by Olivia Yeses from Cote d'Ivoire as the second runner-up.

She reached the top 13 contestants, but could not make it to the top 6 finalists. India last took the crown in 2017, represented by model-actor Manushi Chhillar.
