In a significant boost for pilgrims and long-distance travelers, a new weekly train service connecting Firozpur Cantt. Junction to Hazur Sahib Nanded will be inaugurated by Ravneet Singh, Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries, on June 13, 2025, at Firozpur Cantt. station.
This direct train service is set to greatly facilitate travel for devotees heading to Hazur Sahib Gurudwara in Nanded, one of Sikhism’s most revered pilgrimage sites. The new connection will also ease the journey for the general public, students, workers, and senior citizens, offering affordable long-distance travel and eliminating the need for multiple train changes.
