This direct train service is set to greatly facilitate travel for devotees heading to Hazur Sahib Gurudwara in Nanded, one of Sikhism’s most revered pilgrimage sites. The new connection will also ease the journey for the general public, students, workers, and senior citizens, offering affordable long-distance travel and eliminating the need for multiple train changes.
The new weekly express will not only make pilgrimage travel smoother but also strengthen rail connectivity across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. It is expected to boost trade by making goods transportation easier and more efficient, further supporting the region’s economic growth.
With this launch, Indian Railways continues to expand its network of pilgrimage and long-distance services, directly benefiting communities and enhancing travel convenience for millions.
