SAD (Amritsar) fields Punjab's Most Wanted & slain Gangster's father from Ferozepur for Lok Sabha Polls; Know who he is

SAD (Amritsar) second list contained three names who will fight the upcoming General Elections 2024 in Punjab including Emaan Singh Maan, Harpal Singh Baler & Bhupinder Singh Bhullar.

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) on Monday released its second list of candidates who will be fighting Lok Sabha Elections 2024 in Punjab. SAD (Amritsar) second list contained three names who will fight the upcoming General Elections 2024 in Punjab. The list included- Emaan Singh Maan from Amritsar, Harpal Singh Baler from Khadur Sahib, and Bhupinder Singh Bhullar from Ferozepur. Earlier, Simranjit Singh Mann had announced the names of 5 candidates from Punjab and 2 from Haryana. Notably, what was worth attention-grabbing was the name of Bhupinder Singh Bhullar. Bhupinder Singh Bhullar is the father of a slain gangster who was once Punjab's most wanted. 

 

Bhupinder Singh Bhullar is the father of slain Gangster Jaipal Bhullar. As per reports, Bhupinder Singh Bhullar is a retired assistant sub-inspector from the Punjab police.

His son Jaipal entered the crime world in 2003. For the unversed, in 2021, Jaipal Bhullar and his close aide Jassi Kharar, were killed in a joint operation by Punjab Police, West Bengal Police, and central security agencies. The encounter took place at Shahpurji Enclave in Kolkata. 

 

After chasing for almost 20 days in connection with the killing of two assistant sub-inspectors in Jagraon, Jaipal Bhullar was finally gunned down in Kolkata. Apart from Punjab, Jaipal Bhullar was also wanted in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Himachal Pradesh for over 40 cases related to murder, extortion, kidnapping, robbery, and smuggling.

 

Not only this, some reports stated that Jaipal was directly involved in narco-terrorism in which the Pakistani agency ISI supplied modern weapons and enabled heroin smuggling.

Simnarjit Singh Mann is contesting from Sangrur. Currently, Simranjit is also an MP from the same place. Simranjit Singh Mann had won the by-elections held after Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann left the Sangrur seat in 2022. This time also he is going to give tough competition to his rivals in the elections. Polling for 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab will be held on June 1, while voting for 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana will take place on May 25.
