In a significant development for the upcoming elections, the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer for 04-Jalandhar (SC) Parliamentary Constituency, Jaspreet Singh, received the nomination of the Shiromani Akali Dal-Bahujan Samaj Party (SAD-BSP) candidate, Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar, at the local District Administrative Complex (DAC) on Tuesday.
The Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer, who is responsible for overseeing the election process in the constituency, was present at the DAC to receive the nomination papers of Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar. The SAD-BSP candidate was accompanied by party leaders and supporters, who expressed their confidence in his candidacy.
