"Today marijuana, tomorrow you will say to legalize cocaine in India": Sadhguru slams Anurag Kashyap

Amidst the controversy of Sushant Singh Rajput and the nexus of the drug cartel with Bollywood, another row is in making. Recently, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap in an interview advocated legalizing marijuana in India.

Anurag demanded the Indian government to legalize marijuana, hemp as it is legal in many countries like the USA, Canada, and more. He also said that marijuana is easily available in India. Anurag said that smoking weed is a common sight on the ghats of Banaras by Sadhus, even Unversity students like to smoke weed. So if it is easily available they why not legalize it as it has many medicinal features as well.

Responding to it, Sadhguru in an interview sarcastically said that why only marijuana, let's make cocaine legal, let's make meth legal, lets make every drug legal because you will come in installments anyway. Initially, there was a prohibition, then you said why don't you make alcohol legal now marijuana legal of course the cocaine people will say cocaine similarly different drugs consumers will ask to legalize different drugs.

Sadhguru asked would you fine to fly on a plane of which the pilot has consumed drugs? Would you like to go for surgery by a doctor who has consumed drugs? When you do drugs your faculties are low, not high. So first don't say you are high when you consume drugs, say you are low.

The human ability to experience light is enhanced by heightening your perceptions by heightening your faculties not by lowering your faculties. Anything that lower human faculties whether it is drug, alcohol, drugs is it a thing to pursue?
