In a major security breach, a woman and an advocate were injured after a shooter, who was a suspended lawyer, open fired at them in the Saket district court complex on Friday. As per DCP (South) Chandan Chowdhary, four to five rounds were fired on the court premises at 10:30 am. The woman, identified as M Radha, who was in her 40s, suffered two bullet injuries -- one in the abdomen and one in the hand. She was rushed to Max Hospital in Saket. Notably, the entire incident was filmed by people present nearby and ever since then the Saket Firing Video is doing rounds on social media. Not only this, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also shared the video on his social media handle raising question of law and order from none other Delhi's Lieutenant Governor (LG).

In the Delhi Saket firing video, it can be seen a man running towards a woman and firing shots at Saket Court, while the woman tries to run away from the spot. Other people around can be heard screaming and running here and there in order to save themselves. Another scream can be heard in which a man says that someone stop the man (shooter). Now, coming back to the case, the accused has been identified as Kameshwar Prasad Singh alias Binod Singh. He was suspended by the Bar Council after cheating cases were registered against him. The accused had given Rs 25 lakhs to the woman. When the accused did not receive the money from the victim, he fired shots at her, injuring her in the process, and fled the spot. A hearing on the cheating case filed by the woman against the accused was scheduled for today in the Saket district court.

As per reports, Kameshwar had cases registered against him under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for allegedly cheating the woman victim and an advocate named Rajendra Jha. As per eyewitness Ranjeet Singh Dalal, a total of 4-5 rounds were fired and the accused escaped through the court canteen's back entry. "Police teams have been formed to nab the accused and further investigation is going on," said the DCP. A question has been raised again on the security checks, after the man entered the court premises with a weapon despite metal detectors and frisking by the security officials.
