Trouble seems to be not ending for Republic TV Editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami as another defamation case has been filed against him. While Republic TV is trying to clean the stain of the TRP Scam, they are being served notice on a regular under various cases.

Arnab Goswami's aggressive reporting has been termed toxic and people are in the mood to sue him. Now, Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged close friend and Producer Sandip Ssingh has slammed a Rs 200 crore defamation case on Arnab Goswami.

Sandip took to Instagram and shared the legal notice sent to Republic TV. Sandip on his Instagram wrote, "It's Payback time @republicworld."

Sandip's legal notice states, "That my client is well-known, reputed and established Producer in the Bollywood against whom you have been running/airing defamatory news item with criminal intent to extort money despite the fact that you were very well aware that my client and late Sushant Singh Rajput were known to each other from the days of their struggle."

Ssingh has further registered an objection to the channel's statement that he wanted to "run away to UK" to escape investigation.

Ssingh claims that from August 22 to August 24, correspondents from Republic TV tried to enter his residence and harassed "security guards" and "domestic helpers" and that they have defamed the image of Ssingh. The notice has asked for the channel to remove all malicious footage, articles and reports about Ssingh and to tender an apology, which should include true facts about Ssingh's integrity.

Ssingh has also demanded the payment of Rs 200 crores as compensation from Republic TV.
