Veteran filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been summoned by the Bandra Police to record his statement in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide. The police have confirmed that Sanjay will join the investigation regarding the death of the late actor. Sources have confirmed that Sanjay had offered films to the late actor, but that didn't work out. Sushant couldn't act in the films offered by Sanjay.
Police are probing all the possible angles to know what drove Sushant to take this extreme step. Everyone who was associated with Sushant, on both personal and professional capacity, are being summoned by the police to record their statements.
According to sources, Sanjay will be questioned on the roles that he had offered to Sushant. Some of these films, which Sanjay offered to Sushant, turned out to be blockbusters. So, police will question him on why the deals didn't work out.

Going by the reports, actress Kangana Ranaut along with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur and Aditya Chopra has also been invited by the police to record their statements.
