The tussle between Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Shiv Sena has been increasing day by day. After threatening Kangana to not to come to Mumbai or else face consequences, Kangana has sharply replied and asked if Mumbai has been turned to POK?
This comparison by the actress backfired her as the majority of Bollywood and the ruling party lashed out at Kangana Ranaut. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh also said, "Mumbai Police is compared to Scotland Yard. Some people are trying to target Mumbai Police. An IPS officer has gone to court against this...After, her (#KanganaRanaut's) comparison of Mumbai Police...she has no right to live in Maharashtra or Mumbai."
On which Kangana replied, "He is taking his own calls on my democratic rights, from POK to Taliban in one day".
Now, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has taken the controversy to another level and publically abused the Bollywood actress. Raut in an interview said that Kangana and her father now should be brought to Mumbai. On being asked if Shiv Sena will stop Kangana on September 9, Raut said that not only Shiv Sena as Mumbai is not only of Shiv Sena but also of other political parties. He also said that the NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena they all will decide whether they will let Kangana enter Mumbai or not.
On being asked that whether Shiv Sena will go beyond law then Raut sternly replied in hindi, "Kya hota hai kanun? Wo ladki ne jo baat kia wo kanun ka respect hai kya? Aap kya wo haramkhor ladki ki vakili kar rahe ho? Jisne Shiva ji Maharaj ka apmaan kia hai aap uski tarapdari kar rahe ho?"
After such an unparliamentary comment, Kangana replied, "In 2008 Movie Mafia declared me a Psycho, in 2016 they called me a Witch and Stalker in 2020 Maharashtra Minister publicity gave me the title of Haramkhor Ladki, because I said after a murder I feel unsafe in Mumbai, where are INTOLERANCE debate warriors?"
