While Maharashtra has still not moved on from the Pune Porche Accident Case, a high-profile hit-and-run case has come to the fore in Nagpur. As per reports, an Audi car owned by Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son Sanket Bawankule hit several vehicles on Monday morning in Nagpur's Ramdaspeth area. Following Sanket Bawankule's hit-and-run case, two of its occupants, including the driver, were arrested by the Police. Now, Sanket Bawankule Audi car hit-and-run CCTV footage is going viral on social media and netizens haven been demanding strict action against the people who were present inside the car.

As per reports, during the time of the accident there were five persons in the car, however, three of them, including Sanket Bawankule, had fled. As per a news report, all were coming from a beer bar. The blood samples of the driver and the arrested occupant have been sent for test. Around 1 am, the Audi car first collided with complainant Jitendra Sonkamble's car and then with a moped, leaving two people riding it injured.
Sitabuldi police station officer was quoted by a newswire saying, "The Audi car struck some more vehicles moving towards Mankapur area. At T-Point there, the vehicle hit a Polo car. Its occupants chased the Audi and stopped it near Mankapur bridge. Three occupants, including Sanket Bawankule, fled...The car's driver, Arjun Hawre, and one more occupant, Ronit Chittamwar, were stopped by the occupants of the Polo car. They were taken to Tehsil police station, from where they were handed over for further probe to Sitabuldi police."
"A case of rash driving and other offences was registered on the complaint of Mr Sonkamble. Arjun Hawre and Ronit Chittamwar were later released on bail. Further probe is in progress," the officer from Sitabuldi police station added.

Chandrashekhar Bawankule shared his interaction video with the press on his X handle. Sharing his video, Chandrashekhar Bawankule wrote, "That car is in the name of my son. The police should conduct a fair and complete investigation of this accident, no one should be judged differently. Those who are guilty should be charged and action should be taken against them. I have not spoken to any police system. Justice should be equal to all whether one is related to politics or anyone else."
