Sara Tendulkar slams her deepfake photos with Shubman Gill; denies her presence on X

Sara Tendulkar on Wednesday night lashed out at people sharing her deepfake photos with cricketer Shubman Gill and also set the record straight that she is not on X.

Sara Tendulkar Social Media Fake Accounts

In the world of social media, Sara Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, faced a concerning situation. Someone created a fake account on X (formerly Twitter) pretending to be her, sharing fake pictures and talking to her rumored boyfriend, Shubman Gill.

This surprising event happened when a record called @SaraTendulkar__ acquired a ton of followers, more than 250 thousand to be definite. It not only shared fake pictures of Sara but also reached out to people close to her, making the situation even more intrusive.

Sara immediately spoke up about this on her Instagram. In a post that she later deleted, she stressed how important it is for technology not to be used to lie. Sara clarified that the pictures shared were fake, and she doesn't even have an account on X. In the post she said "Social media is a wonderful space for all of us to share our joys, sorrows and daily activities.

However, it is disconcerting to see the misuse of technology as it takes away from the truth and authenticity of the internet. I have come across some deepfake photos of me which are far from reality.

A few accounts on X (formerly Twitter) have obviously been created with an intent to impersonate me and mislead people. I do not have an account on X, and I hope X looks into such accounts and suspends them.

Entertainment should never come at the expense of the truth. Let's encourage communication that's based in trust and reality."

Sara asked X to look into such fake accounts and shut them down. She emphasized that communication online should be based on trust and reality. Sara strongly believes that fun online should never mean spreading false information.

Her message is clear to social media and web users using technology to pretend to be someone else is a big problem, and social media needs to fix it.

Sara Tendulkar's recent experience with a fake account highlights the pressing need for enhanced security measures and ethical considerations on the digital platform. As she continues to navigate the complexities of the online world, Sara stands as a voice advocating for truth, authenticity, and responsible use of technology.
