Everyone loves to eat samosa. What if we tell you that a restaurant has been preparing samosas in a toilet for over 30 years.

Shocking news has come to light. Saudi Arabia authorities recently shut down an eatery in Jeddah city after they discovered that it had been preparing samosas and other snacks in toilets for more than 30 years.

According to the report of local media Gulf News, this restaurant was operating in a residential building in Jeddah city. Jeddah Municipality officials raided the restaurant after receiving a tip and shut it down after receiving the complaint.

According to the report, the municipality officials found that the work of preparing snacks and other food was going on in the washroom of the restaurant. Even more surprised when they found expired food items like meat and cheese used to make snacks. Some of these had expired two years ago. Apart from this, insects and cockroaches were also found in this alleged kitchen of the restaurant.

This is the second incident in four months that a restaurant has been closed in Saudi Arabia due to the unsanitary environment. According to the report of Gulf News, in January also the famous Shawarma restaurant in Jeddah itself was closed. In this restaurant, rats were found roaming all around.
