In another disappointing day for people demanding CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian's case, the Supreme Court of India refused to entertain the plea. A PIL was filed in the apex court, seeking a court-monitored CBI probe into the death of Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Disha Salian, along with the agency's probe into the death of the Bollywood actor, as both are "inter-linked".

The PIL was listed for hearing before a bench headed by Chief Justice S.A. Bobde and comprising Justices A.S. Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian.

The plea, filed by Puneet Kaur Dhanda through advocate Vineet Dhanda, had sought a direction to Mumbai Police to place on record the detailed investigation report in the case after it was reported that her case file is missing or has been deleted.

Hearing the case, Chief Justice of India SA Bobde said, "Tell Mr. Dhanda in the meanwhile to consider going to the Bombay HC Instead."

The plea highlights "suspicious circumstances" under which both Rajput and Salian died at the "peak of their successful professional careers". No counsel has appeared on the last two occasions before the Supreme Court. CJI had therefore adjourned the case twice.

In a criminal case connected to this issue (Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case), your lordship has directed a CBI inquiry, the counsel said. CJI said, "You might be having a case, but what is the problem in approaching the Bombay HC?"
