The Congress leader Nana Patole targeted Amitabh Bachchanand Akshay Kumar for not speaking about the hike in fuel prices. Patole claimedthat these actors used to speak about fuel price when the government at thecenter was led by Congress.
Now the government has beefed up a security outsideAmitabh Bachchan's house. One of the official was quoted by Times of India, "Itis a temporary measure, as a precaution."
Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole a few daysback targeted superstar Amitabh Bachchan and superstar Akshay Kumar for silenceon rising prices of petrol and diesel. He has raised the question that whenfuel prices had increased during the Manmohan Singh government, these actorshad criticized it on social media a lot. He has also described the Modigovernment of the Center as a dictator during his statement.
He had also accused these stars of not supportingthe farmers' issues during the press conference. He asked why Big B and Akshayare silent on the issue of farmers? In the coming time, neither these actors'films will be shot in Maharashtra nor will their films be released.
Following this, Patole received lots of criticism onsocial media and from the BJP leaders. ANI quoted Patole who said, "Ididn't speak against Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan but against their work.They're not real heroes. If they were, they would've stood beside people duringtheir sufferings. If they want to continue being 'kagaz ke sher', then we don'thave any problem."
