The competition among the streaming industry is fascinating Reed Hastings, the CEO of Netflix.
Disney, NCB, and WarnerMedia are next to launch their own streaming services in the market. With these giants making their entry into the market it is never going to be easy for the existing streamers to prevail unbeatably.
The scene of competition is a situation of caution for many entrepreneurs but for this is totally different for the CEO of Netflix.
Talking on the same he said, “The advantage of having something be catchy like ‘the streaming wars’ is that it draws more attention, and because of that, consumers shift more quickly from linear TV to streaming TV,”
“I think everybody gets that people will subscribe to multiple [platforms],” he said
Then he said “I’d wager that most Netflix employees are HBO subscribers. We love the content they do and that spurs us on to want to be even better.”
“Competition grows the industry,”
This positivity towards any business is what the younger generation of entrepreneurs needs to learn and acquire. Do not be shocked after knowing that the shares of the company fell 10% and yet he remains optimistic and cool about the future.
