The Raj Mehta directorial ‘Selfiee’ is all set to release on the big screens. The movie releasing under the banner of Dharma Productions stars Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. ‘Selfiee’ is an official remake of 2019 Malayalam film named Driving License. The film starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the lead roles.
Selfiee is all set to release on big screens on 24th February 2022. Along with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, the movie also has Diana Penty and Nushrratt Bharuccha in pivotal roles. In Selfiee while Akshay Kumar will be portraying role of a famous Bollywood actor, Emraan will play the role of a cop and is also the biggest fan of the Bollywood superstar.
Talking about the storyline of Selfiee, Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of a Bollywood superstar named Vijay Kumar Saxena who enjoys an immense fan following. The Bollywood superstar in the later part of movie wished to obtain a driving license from an RTO officer named OM Prakash Aggarwal who is a diehard fan of the Bollywood superstar. Om Prakash Agarwal just has one wish i.e. to get a selfie clicked with his favorite Bollywood actor. Om Prakash tries various tricks to call the superstar to his office so that he can get a selfie clicked with him. But a misunderstanding & confusion leads to a war of words between the two, eventually escalating into a feud that is played out in front of the media and the entire country.
