An incident of suicide attemptcame in front from Punjab’s Ludhiana district where an elderly woman tried toself-murder. She tried to commit suicide in the police station. The victimaccused the police of not taking any action. She was troubled by the police soshe decided to commit suicide.

Thismatter came from CIA police station division number three. The lady on Fridayvisited the police station to get information about the investigation on hercomplaint. She was fed up with her son and daughter-in-law so she pleads forjustice in the police station by filing a complaint.

Thevictim woman and her husband were assaulted by her son and daughter-in-law. Shewas troubled by the rounds of the police station. Being upset by no action on the complaint, she sprinkled oil on herself in the police station. Butbefore she started the fire, the policemen hold her and take her to the room ofthe station in-charge.

Thereare allegations on the police for not taking any action. The station in-charge gaveassurance of taking the action. The station head said that several attemptswere made to resolve the between both sides. If the elderly couple stillsuffering, then action will be taken against the son and daughter-in-law soon.
