
O/O District Public Relations Officer, Jalandhar, January 6-To open new vistas of employment for the youth, the district administrationwould organize seven placement camps from January 7 to 15 in the district.
The Security Skills Council India Limited would carry outmassive registration of the youths for security staff.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thorisaid placement camps would start from January 7 and first would be organized inthe office of BDPO Nurmahal.
He further revealed that on January 8, camp would be held inBDPO Rurka Kalan, on January 11 in BDPO Adampur, on January 12 in BDPO Bhogpur,on January 13 in BDPO Lohian Khas, on January 14 in BDPO Jalandhar East and onJanuary 15 in BDPO West.
Thori said that only boys would be able for the registrationwhich will be conducted at free of cost.
He said that the height of interest youth must be 168-CM,50-kg weight, 80-CM chest and their age must have in between 21 to 27.
Deputy Commissioner also told that the youth must havepassed matric.
He said that selected youths would undergo one-monthtraining to be offered by Security Skills Council India. He said that for12-hour duty, a salary package from Rs 12500 to 14000 and Rs 10000 to Rs 11000for 8-hour duty would be given by the company.
The Deputy Commissioner further said that the selection ofthe youth for jobs would be made purely on merit through a fair and transparentsystem.
He said these placement camps would pave for realizing thedream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide jobs to everyunemployed youth of the state. He said that the youth must avail maximumbenefit of these job fairs, which would be instrumental in opening new avenuesof employment for them.
