The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has decided to shelve the videography in the parikrama of Sri Darbār Sahib. The decision has been taken following the inconvenience caused by such pilgrims by the committee.

In this regard, the committee has given information in Punjabi, Hindi and English so that no one can violate these orders.

Jaswinder Singh Dinnpur, manager of Sri Darbar Sahib, says that because of the increasing number of smartphones today, everybody comes to this holy place and takes self-interest, which destroys the spiritual environment.

He said that this decision has been taken to prevent this from happening at this shrine. He also said that, at this time, professional cameras have not been decided yet and a new policy will be formulated in the coming days and a decision on whether to ban the cameras is important.
