Shah Rukh Khan's fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film Jawan, and now there is finally a confirmed date. The film, directed by Atlee, will hit theaters on September 7, after being delayed from its original June release date.
Shah Rukh Khan shared the announcement video on his social media, revealing that the film will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. In the video, we see glimpses of the film, leaving fans excited for what's to come.
Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, with Sethupathi playing the antagonist. In a previous Twitter AMA chat, Shah Rukh had praised Atlee as a "mad mass director" and shared that he and his wife were lovely.
Vijay Sethupathi shared with India Today how he landed the part of the villain in the film, revealing that he expressed his desire to play a bad guy to Shah Rukh at Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's wedding. The superstar responded by saying that they were already considering him for the role.
Shah Rukh Khan has already had a successful 2023 with his film Pathaan, which made over Rs 1000 crore globally.
