Anti-CAA row: Shaheen Bagh protesters to meet Amit Shah on February 16, no confirmation from MHA yet

Delhi's Shaheen Bagh protesters have announced they will march to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's residence tomorrow and will put forward their demands. However, their sole demand is to scrap the Citizenship (Amendment) Act.

According to the sources in the Ministry of Home Affairs, no information has reached them so far. But, the march is expected to start at 2 pm on February 16.

When media spoke to Shaheen Bagh protesters, they said we have decided to march towards Amit Shah's residence because he recently announced that if anyone has a problem with CAA can meet him and discuss the problem.

"Amit Shah ji ne yeh kaha tha ki kisi ko is kanoon se pareshani hai toh mera paas aayen. Shaheen Bagh ko is kanoon se takleef hai. Is liye Shaheen Baagh kal Amit Shah ji ke paas jayega," one of the protesters said.
