The second season of Shark Tank India is slowly and steadily gaining momentum. Although Shark Tank India 2 has failed to impress the fans as compared to its first season, it has a genuine fan base. The absence of Ashneer Grover from the show is evident. However, Shark Tank India is a show to celebrate and support the entrepreneurs of India. Recently, two entrepreneurs named Prateek Palanethra and Vishwanath came to seek investments for their business named 'Free Bowler' in Shark Tank India Season 2. Interestingly, Prateek Palanethra stated that Team India cricketer KL Rahul is his cousin and told the Sharks that spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is the brand ambassador of their business.

In their pitch, Prateek and Vishwanath stated that their bowling alley brand, "Free Bowler" is the only company selling bowling alley equipment at such low pricing. In Shark Tank 2, they requested INR 75 lakhs for 7.5% equity, but were unable to win over the sharks because their pitch lacked the same level of intrigue as that of the other pitchers on the most recent show. Ravichandran Ashwin, a bowler for the Indian cricket team, was revealed as their brand ambassador, which pleased the Sharks. Prateek also revealed that he is KL Rahul's cousin.

How Prateek is related to KL Rahul?

When the Sharks inquired about their past, they revealed that they had been Under-16 players before becoming trained umpires. Because KL Rahul is Prateek Palanethra's cousin, he revealed that he has a background in cricket. They gave the sharks a demo of their goods and explained the prices. Although Prateek and Vishwanath informed the sharks that they were losing money, the majority of Sharks declined to invest in the company.

Shadi.com founder Anupam Mittal stated that there is no market for the product KL Rahul's cousin is selling. Mittal expressed his surprise at the owners and said that he had a feeling that they did not know the market despite the fact that they were in the business for the last five years or more. Furthermore, he highlighted that Prateek Palanethra and Vishwanath were at loss and speculated that it was the case as there was simply no demand for the product in the cricket sector within India, especially because every team has its own bowling machine.

However, Free Bowler got an offer. Owners were presented with a package by Namita Thapar that included 25 lakhs for 15% equity and 50 lakhs in loan at 5% interest. Prateek and Vishwanath made a counteroffer, nevertheless. This is when a displeased Namita claimed that she had made an offer to them while the other Sharks were not even interested and that she was not expecting a counter.
