Punjab’s Katrina Kaif and Bigg Boss 13 fame, Shehnaaz Gill’s father has recently received a death threat from an unknown person through a phone call. Reportedly, the caller threatened to murder Santokh Singh before Diwali. The victim stated that caller first started abusing him and then said, “I will not fire you, instead will cut you into pieces.” Post receiving the threat, information was given to the police officials and an investigation has been launched to find out from where the call was received.
Reportedly, it is being said that during the last year also a failed attempt was made to kill Santokh Singh. Miscreants tried to murder him by firing bullets at him but somehow, he got saved and fled from the scene. This incident happened when he was out for work in Tarn Taran. The police stated that the attackers were from Amritsar.
The Police have now provided Santokh Singh with security to protect him from any kind of threat. The SSP has assured that the probe has been initiated and soon the accused will be put behind the bars. Santokh Gill joined BJP in the year 2021 and also contested the Legislative Assembly elections.
