Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has slammed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on his decision to recommend CBI Inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Amidst the ongoing controversy on Sushant Singh Rajput's case and Mumbai Police obstructing the investigation, Sushant's father KK Singh talked to Nitish Kumar.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has recommended a CBI investigation into the death of deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput after speaking to his father KK Singh. The minister said that the Bihar government will ask for a CBI inquiry into the matter. It is also reported that Sushant's father and his family no longer want the police to investigate the case and want the CBI to investigate the case instead. Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Mumbai home on June 14.

On this, Priyanka lashed out at Nitish Kumar. She wrote on her twitter, "The statement from Bihar CM as being reported by media,if true, shows it is merely politics for him¬ basis of constitutional legalities or getting Sushant justice Law&Order is state subject, CBI decision can only be taken by Maha Govt. Bihar police&govt have no locus standi."
Sanjay Raut in an interview also accused Nitish Kumar of politicizing Sushant's case. He also termed Nitish Kumar 'intolerant'.
