Amidst tons of criticism on the social media and the BJP, Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna has slammed the Modi Government for supporting Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami. Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Arnab Goswami's arrest slammed the Congress, Shiv Sena and accused them of using their power to fulfil their personal vendetta.

The Shiv Sena was slammed from all direction from the BJP ministers. Now the party in its Editorial Saamna has published their take. In it’s editorial for the Saamana, the party wrote: “The ones crying foul over the death of the fourth pillar of the democracy are doing so by destroying the first pillar themselves, so stop beating your chest over a nautanki (dramatic man)."

The Editorial also alleged that former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis pressurised the Mumbai Police and even the courts in the abetment of suicide case that was filed against Arnab.

The Editorial slammed the BJP and asked anti-government reporters have been jailed in Gujarat and killed in Uttar Pradesh and nobody is reminded of a ‘state of emergency ’there why?
