In a shocking development, Punjabi music composer & late singer Sidhu Moose Wala's close associate, Bunty Bains on Tuesday escaped an assassination attempt in Mohali. As per reports, gunmen opened fire when Bunty Bains was at a restaurant in Mohali Sector 79. Reports suggest that unknown gunmen opened fire on Bunty Bains, who escaped without any injuries. Thereafter, he filed a police complaint.
A news portal quoted Bunty Bains saying that following the attack, he received a threatening phone call demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore. Bunty revealed that he received the threat call from a man in the name of Lucky Patial, a notorious gangster believed to be operating from Canada. Lucky Patiala allegedly demands Rs 1 crore ransom or else he will kill him. Reports suggest that Lucky Patiala is linked to other gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi-gang and the Bambiha Gang. The Police have started their investigation after the complaint was filed.
For the unversed, Bunty Bains is well-connected to Punjabi music industry. It is said that Bains is known for shaping up careers of multiple Punjabi singers. Interestingly, reports suggest that Bunty Bains' company used to manage Sidhu Moose Wala's affairs when he was alive. Notably, Sidhu Moose Wala was also killed in a drive-by shooting in May 2022. Gangster Goldy Brar had claimed responsibility for the murder. Brar is known is to be an associate of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
