Balkaur Singh, father of late Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh a.k.a Sidhu Moosewala, took a dig at the entry of Aam Aadmi Party's Jalandhar MP Sushil Kumar Rinku into BJP. Balkaur Singh shared a post on social media saying- Now the people of Jalandhar should tell them who is the traitor? Balkaur Singh posted a video reel of 1 minute 15 seconds.

In the video reel, Balkaur Singh is addressing a meeting in Jalandhar by-election. In the video he said that he has no interest in parading in the streets of Jalandhar. They have to come out to the streets after being let down by the authorities. The mansion (palace) worth Rs 3 crore is locked, that is why he has come.

He further said that the governments have made his house deserted, that is why he has come on the streets. He said that no matter how weak he gets, he will fight for justice. Balkaur said that “the Gurus have taught us to fight and pray.”

“The rest of the people can vote as per their wish, I have no objection. If someone still doesn't like it then people can press NOTA (None of the Above) button.” He went on to say. He appealed to the people to bring the present government to fifth position (below the other parties), so that the government can know that it is doing wrong things.

In the video Sushil Rinku was shown first shaking hands with Aam Aadmi Party's Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and then with Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann wearing their banner. But then, he was shown getting the banner from the senior leadership of BJP. It I pertinent to note that on March 5 last year, Balkaur Singh had also taken out a march against the Aam Aadmi Party government from Bada Pind and Rudka Kalan of Phillaur.
