Most wanted gangster Goldy Brar who is the mastermind behind major crimes that happened in India was detained in California, USA. Although no official information is given by California Police on the same. The information reached Indian intelligence agencies after which they are in contact with American agencies to get information about the same.
A red corner notice was also issued against Goldy Brar by the Indian Government in 2 cases major being the killing of famous singer Sidhu Moosewala. Earlier he was residing in Canada but after the notice was issued, he fled to the US for political assistance. As per information, he fled from Canada and started living in Fresno City of California, US. It is being claimed that the gangster was detained based on information provided by Lakhbir Singh Kanda Harike as there is a split between two of them.
On hearing the news of Gold Brar arrest, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh thanked everyone and showed hope that now gangster will be brought to India after which his son will get justice. On 1st December 2022, Balkaur Singh while interacting with media in Amritsar requested Central Government to announce prize money of Rs. 2 crores to catch Goldy Brar. He even added that if government is not able to pay it then he does not mind paying that amount. The hope of his father is not wrong as India has an extradition policy with the United States of America. After detainment, if the judiciary of that country finds him to suspect of any of the allegations raised upon him, then he will in no time be extradited to India. Goldy Brar’s extradition to India will be a major development in Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead on 29th May 2022 near village Mansa. After his killing, gangster Goldy Brar took responsibility of his murder and stated that singer was killed to avenge death of his very own brother. Out of total shooters who shot singer, 4 got arrested while 2 were killed in an encounter at Attari in Amritsar.
